* **Official Part Number:** 16512-47E00 or 16512-42A20 (Cap, Oil Filter)
---
### Description
This is a genuine OEM Suzuki factory decorative chrome oil filter cap, removed from a clean donor motorcycle. It acts as the outer protective housing trim sleeve that covers the spin-on engine oil filter, maintaining the clean classic cruiser aesthetic on the front-lower section of the engine block.
* **Genuine Quality:** Authentic heavy steel factory stamping, far superior to cheap plastic aftermarket alternative covers.
* **Direct Fit:** Designed to match the factory mounting dimensions and clip securely over the standard spin-on filter setup using the internal friction tabs.
---
### Vehicle Fitment
This cover piece is removed from and explicitly guaranteed to fit:
* **2002 Suzuki Volusia 800 (VL800)**
---
### Condition
* **Overall State:** Structurally sound and fully usable. The metal sleeve is solid, completely round, and has no heavy dents, cracks, or deep structural damage. Internal mounting clips are intact.
* **Internal Corrosion Note (Crucial):** The inner un-plated steel surface displays heavy visible signs of surface rust, amber oxidation stains, and old fluid residue from long-term moisture exposure. This is strictly inside the cap and is completely hidden from view once installed on the motorcycle.
* **Cosmetic Notes (Exterior):** The outer chrome plating retains a functional reflection but shows clear signs of normal vintage road wear. The top flat face features a dense network of fine surface scratches, swirling marks, and light pitting blemishes from road debris and age.
