## Description

Up for sale is a **Genuine OEM Motorcycle Fuel Gas Tank (Petrol Reservoir)**.

This item was carefully removed from a clean, fully functional 2002 Suzuki VL800 Intruder Volusia with only **12,855 original miles** on the odometer. The motorcycle was completely tested before teardown — the engine started perfectly, cylinders showed excellent compression, the transmission shifted through all gears smoothly, and all fluid lines and electrical systems were in fully operational, road-ready condition.

This is a factory original Suzuki part, proudly **Made in Japan**. It features the authentic factory steel construction and heavy-duty structural mounting brackets. It is NOT a cheap aftermarket replacement or thin generic shell. Designed specifically for the early carburetor-fed models.

**PLEASE NOTE:** This listing includes the **Bare Fuel Tank AND the original factory fuel delivery lines (fuel hose and vacuum air line)** exactly as shown in the photos. The chrome speedometer console, fuel cap, fuel cock/petcock, and fuel sending unit have been removed and are NOT included in this sale.

* **Internal Condition:** The inside of the chamber contains visible surface rust and scale from long-term storage (clearly documented in the last close-up photo). It will require chemical rust removal, flush, or tank sealer coating before it can be safely installed on a running motorcycle.

* **External Condition:** Good overall structural condition with zero leaks. The exterior factory paint is intact with normal light surface scuffs, faint scratches, and minor dings from use and storage. Bottom flanges for the petcock valve and fuel level sender are structurally solid.

* Includes the factory rubber hoses, which remain flexible and in good reusable shape. Please review all high-resolution photos carefully to evaluate the exact cosmetic and internal state.
